Clicker Vanneson lives about 100 years from now in a totalitarian empire formerly known as Europe. He was meant to be a genetically-engineered experiment that would go on to lead the next war, but it seems his engineer fell asleep on the job. While the child retained some of the perfect Scandinavian genetics and an anti-aging gene, he also wound up with genes for a so-far unnamed mental disorder, various bald spots in his hair, stunted growth, and unstable temperament. The scientists wanted to dispose of him at first, but his engineer wanted to make negotiations with the emperor to adopt him and have him live a normal life. The emperor wouldn't allow the genetic failure to have an actual family. But after some more "monetary negotiation" and "publicity adjustment strategy" (bribing and blackmail), the emperor allowed the child to be raised by the army, and eventually become an agent of fascism. The platoon responsible for raising him named the boy after a long-dead fascist politician - "Clicker" being the politician's nickname before he came to office, and Vanneson being the politician's middle name. Think it sounds silly and trite? That's because it is. It's essentially a loose parody of OMG DICTATORSHIP speculative fiction.
He's Finley's cousin, and the leader of a small band of mercenaries. His hair color is also completely natural. Andre is also a character in a comic series I plan on making. The setting is a cross between medieval times and the late 80's/early 90's. Andre is also entirely disconnected from reality, musing on such things as cauliflower's lack of purpose in the universe, and how Santa Claus must be losing faith in humanity. He shows antisocial tendencies and slight schizophrenia, yet manages to take care of himself quite well. His vivid imagination gets him through the day.
Finley is a warrior of true metal, and is not afraid to show it. He loves to shout lines from his favorite songs, blast music in his room, and attend music festivals by his favorite bands. He is also an actual warrior, in that he is one of Captain Andre's mercenaries. Why is he in his own cousin's company? Turns out that Finley's been having some trouble with his immediate family, mostly with his father and maternal grandparents. His mother is trying to reconcile with him by sending him expensive presents. Finley, however, is just enjoying his time in the castle, playing arcade games and watching sci-fi B-movies. His favorite movie is "Space Raptors", a film about astronaut cowboy ninjas fighting zombie dinosaurs in space, while riding dinosaurs.
Grimwald is a necromancer from my screenplay, "Apokrusade." He's not quite like the others. He's a sexually deviant, corpse-fucking bastard who ends up betraying the dark lord. He loves his freedom, and loves his facepaint. And that's why we love him.
Genevie is a classy lady. She's an actress who stars in numerous art-house productions. She loves poetry and abstract thoughts. She's also the subject of my various lighting experiments.
